As any electrical work that is carried out in Domestic /Commercial /Industrial areas it has to be tested and the results recorded this makes sure it's safe to use in the environment that the work has being completed
With new houses as well houses that need rewiring a process is in place where all the installation is tested and a cert is then completed and sent to RECI and then to the ESB in a new house so that power can be installed when this is completed I will connect to the meter turn on the power and proceed to do the final test and seal the meter and send off the final cert to RECI and supply the customer with His/Her copy of the final test
